The Magnolia House in Madison

The tax record says it was built in 1839, but a couple of other sites say 1860. I don't think the architecture of the house fits either construction date, so I suspect it was modified and "victorianized" later. During a renovation at some point a trap door was found and a tunnel to the Presbyterian Church was discovered. Speculation has it the house was part of the Underground Railroad.
