The Jerusalem Lutheran Church

This is the oldest surviving intact building in the State of Georgia, built in 1769. It is located where the town of Ebenezer once stood. Ebenezer was established in 1734. It briefly served as the capital of Georgia in 1782. It was abandoned in 1855. It was also the home of the first state governor of Georgia,
John Adam Treutlen.
