Ashley-Slater House (c. 1914) Located in Douglas, GA

The Ashley-Slater House is an Italianate mansion and local architectural treasure, and is designated as the offices for the City of Douglas Public Information Department, Douglas Visitor Information Center, and Main Street. The house features an original mural, a host of antique furnishings, and a tragic history. A collection of family items is on view in the home including WWI memorabilia, love letters, and photos. Visitors also enjoy the attractive gardens and grounds. (Coffee County)
