Grady County Courthouse

The current Grady County Courthouse whose architectural style is Classical Revival was completed in 1985 after the previous courthouse was destroyed by fire in 1980. The original courthouse was built in 1908. Grady County is Georgia's 139th county. It was created in 1906 from portions of Decatur and Thomas Counties and was named after Henry Grady, prominent editor of the Atlanta Constitution.
