Lowndes County

This old building is currently the center of controversy just north of downtown Valdosta in Lowndes County. The owner wants to demolish the old building to put in a parking lot. (the most recent business the building housed- an oil change business that closed a few years ago) however, the historic preservation commission for the city doesn't want it demolished - the commission says that it once was home to "Foremost Dairy" years ago, and therefore has historical significance!
