My favorite yellow house was the one my grandfather built for my grandmother in 1949. After their children were grown, they gave up their farm life in Crisp County, and moved to Grady County. Their estate was sold after they passed away, and their home was used for some time as rental property. When it came up for sale the second time, I purchased the house and had it moved outside of town. My sons were awesome in helping me restore it, and they added on a rather large addition as well. Many people still share fond memories with me of this modest, little home and describe it in very loving terms.
