Loyd Presbyterian Church in Troup County

The Congregation of Loyd Presbyterian Church in Troup County moved into this building in 1886 and it served then well for over 110 years. Needing a larger church, they offered the building, less the steeple, to the Lakeview Baptist Church if they would move it off the property as they had built a new sanctuary. SO, the congregation at Lakeview moved the building less than a mile away, added a steeple and resided the building and it has served them since about 2000.
