1917 Neoclassical Revival home in Ball Ground (Cherokee County). I took bottom photo 5 years ago today, just before we began renovation. Built by treasurer of the local bank - local lore has it that it wasn't his money though, which explains why he left town shortly after it was completed, leaving it in the ownership of the bank (which then promptly went out of business). Owned by a single family since 1952. Picture on top taken after renovation.
