The Sanders Home in Penfield

 It is one of the oldest homes in the tiny town, if not the oldest. It was built in 1830 by Billington McCarter Sanders. Mr. Sanders was very involved in the Baptist movement in the state and when Mercer University was found in Penfield in 1833, he became it's first President.
