Millen Baptist Church

Millen Baptist Church was established in 1885 because the people in the growing town of Millen didn't want to ride the 5 miles to Little Buckhead Church every Sunday and Little Buckhead Church was made up of people who didn't want to travel so far to get to Big Buckhead Church. The first Sanctuary was a small white wood structure. The congregation soon outgrew the building and in 1910 it was moved down the street and the present structure was completed in 1911 on the site of the original church.
