Original Bell from Porterdale's Welaunee Cotton Mill in Newton County

It was rung at the beginning of each shift change. It was saved from being melted down during WWII by Mr. Haggard who worked in the mill. It had been in their family ever since until last year when it was placed on display at the site of Porterdale's historic gym.
