New Hope Baptist Church in Lincoln County

 Established in 1830. The first structure was probably a log church and at the edge of the cemetery. In 1856 the second building was constructed across the road from the present structure, which was built in 1911. The present structure is quite unique in the region on both the interior and exterior. It is still quite an active congregation.
