Depot in West Point

The Atlanta & West Point Railway Office and Depot in West Point. The freight depot at the far end is the oldest part built in 1887. The office part was added in the early 1900's.The passenger station is long gone. In 1974 it was leased to the Chattahoochee Valley Railway and vacated when they shut down in 1992. After sitting abandoned for several years the city took it over as a visitor center and museum.
