Kind of insignificant but long forgotten is this last undisturbed piece of Holcomb Bridge Road, now Old Holcomb Bridge, just north and west of Ga 400. Holcomb Bridge was moved south during the construction of the new highway during the late 60's. I remember driving around the roads of north Fulton County, and I smile to think back about how many of the area roads were either marginally paved or still dirt. It really was out in the middle of nowhere.
