1870's era Greek Revival Farmhouse - Hampton Area - Henry County

This was part of a 187 acre working farm. The property was for sale in 2005. I spoke with the owner, i'm assuming that it was an inheritance, she wasn't interested in doing a 5 acre cutout with the house on it. She wanted it sold as a whole for $25,000/acre.

It was eventually bought by the county and a school was built on the land. The house was demolished, whether anything was salvaged, I don't know. The location where the house sat is now a parking lot.
