The John R. Cook home at 908 Union Street in the Historic District of Brunswick Georgia. The house was built in Charleston, South Carolina in 1890 and transported via barge down the Savannah River to Brunswick GA. I took this photo in 2011. From what I understand, a young couple has recently purchased this wonderful old home, went to some type of school to learn how to restore it to it's original glory, and plan to do just that... — in Brunswick, Georgia.
