Enigma GA
At the turn of the century; this was the gas station in Enigma. It sat on the highway on the corner lot adjacent to our house until the mid 1950 when it was move to the yard behind our house. All the railroad men gathered to eat under it's shelter where they could also purchase a hot meal from within. Afetr we bought the house; we discovered that my Hufstetler Grandfather had worked with the railroad and would have gathered with the men for meals. My Grandmother traveled down and married him in Enigma Methodist Church where we had become members. We had no idea before we settled in Enigma. Sadly, we left soon after we finished our house to come to work in Blackshear, Ga.
