With Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts having birthdays this month, and the late Duane Allman would have celebrated his birthday last month, I thought this week a great time for my first trip to Rose Hill Cemetery in Macon. I took the picture on the left at the location used for the back cover of the Allman Brothers first album (the picture on the right is from that same photo shoot). Seems that some folks don't know how to be respectful of other's property, but other than that the cemetery is a beautiful place. I can certainly see why the band was so fond of it.
