Old Roadside Restaurant and Store, Alto GA
Back in the early days of the US Highway System small rest stops sprung up all over America like this one on Old US23. Cars and trucks didn't make the kind of speed as they do today, so these little highway respites offered gas, rest rooms. stores, diner, sometimes only rest rooms. They were the forerunners of places like Stuckeys and now today's Interstate rest stops. This may or may not be one of them, but it does fit the profile.
