A few miles from the ED Rivers house, I spotted this historical marker and turned around. At first I thought I was headed into private property but there was a bait shop and trading post. There was no one that really knew the history and I found very little remnants of the mill and such but in another post will be a pic of what the little dam mentioned on the marker created. (Lanier County)
