The house belonged to James Archie Gaskins M.D., my great grandfather. He was born on October 24, 1870, in Georgia, his father, Archibald, was 27 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 20. He married Lillian Estelle Moate and they had two children together. He then married Flora Alma Paty and they had four children together. He died on April 1, 1950, in Berrien County, Georgia, at the age of 79, and was buried in Atkinson County, Georgia.
Thank you for your comment! I will see if I can message this info to the person who took the picture (Clinton Bailey). These pictures come from my face book page and it's very hard to go back on the page and find the post or I would do that. So much easier to find on here and that's one of the reasons I created the blog.
