Palmetto GA
After WW2, America was restless, the years of gas and tire rationing combined with a large group of young people who went off to war and now wanted to get out and drive led to a huge growth in service stations across the country. As we moved thru the 50's and into the early 60's gas station designs became more and more modernistic. This glass and brick structure was built in Palmetto in 1962. Looks like it may have originally been an Exxon or Mobil. Any info on the history would be appreciated.
