Pickett's Mill

..... these sites are scattered across our state. They may be American Revolution, Southern Revolution, from the Indian Wars or the war waged against the Cherokee by the US. This one is located in Paulding County. You can see the trenches dug by the soldiers, the ravine where thousands died and walk along a section of the original road used by Union troops to go on to Kennesaw Mtn and then on to Atlanta.
