..... The Chattahoochee Methodist Church, just north of Robertstown, was built in 1860. Many of the early graves are marked with flat rocks at the head and foot with no markings. The earliest marked grave is from 1862 and the headstone reads, “T.J. Owens, Died July 21, 1862”. The church was also used in the 1950’s movie, “I’d Climb the Highest Mountain” starring Susan Hayward and William Lundagan.
