About 3 miles south of Folkston (Charlton County) I found this historical marker. I was excited, thought I had found me a gold mine of history. I am sure it is there but at the time (April 2014) I found the whole park flooded. I could not get to the church, the tressel and mill were under water. I post this so that maybe someone has some pics or will go down and take some because I have always wondered what I missed. There is another marker and pic of what I found in comments.
