At one time textile mills were all over the east coast, especially here in the south with all the raw materials close at hand. Over time, competition from overseas desimated the textile industry. I know people love the old houses and farms, but every building has stories and the people who worked in them had some doozies. This is the Dundee Mills in Griffin, Ga. Opened in 1888, it remained open until the 21st Century and now sits empty.
