This is reported to be the oldest home in Carroll County. Ga. It was built in 1824. The city of Villa Rica just issued a demolition permit to the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica. The City has allowed so many of its historical buildings to be destroyed. Although the house is said to be in very bad shape inside with rot, mold and water damage. Still Sad! 1824 - The Creek Indians were still in Carrollton at this time. (Carroll County) J.D.
