The Stephen Alexander Juhan Home in Adel

The home is now Boone Funeral Home. My great grandfather, S.A. Juhan, was a teacher, merchant, and land owner in Cook County during the late 1800s and early 1900s. He owned the cotton gin in Adel for many years. He died in 1932. Both my grandmother (his daughter) and my father lay in state in the parlor of this house. My grandmother grew up in this house.
