English Eddy Presbyterian Church
Services are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. It is located on Highway 1 in Toombs County, Georgia. An eddy is a point in a river, usually near a bend, where the water slowly swirls, or eddys. The eddy in the Altamaha River just south and west of the church was called English Eddy. This church is the second one. I do not have information on what happened to the first structure, but it was located on highway 147.
