So excited to find this page through a friend! My parents restored the Durham doctors' house and apothecary on Main St in Maxeys GA and are opening the apothecary (believed to be 1870s but now possibly dated pre-CW - very rare in South) as "Coffee, Tea & History." Opening party Sept. 17, 2-4 in conjunction with the release of the second book of my Restoration Trilogy, romantic suspense inspired by their property renovations!
