Spence Consolidated School
The newer brick structure (built in 1941 to replace wooden structure destroyed by fire in 1939) contained four classrooms, library, a basement room at one time used for agriculture and shop work and kitchen and lunchroom, and girls and boys toilets. There was an enrollment of 125 comprising 8 grades, taught by 5 teachers.
