Built in 1907 by Dan T. and Mary Akins Beasley. Dan was a blacksmith. Hopeulikit was famous for its large dance hall and bands from surrounding counties. The dance hall was torn down in the 1940's. The photo is of the back of the Beasley House with the well visible beside the back porch.
