It is part of the Jimmy Carter Boyhood Family Home National Park. This store was opened as needed to supply farmhands, family and neighbors needed goods. The farm is just east of Plains. On the way to the farm you can visit the Lebanon Cemetery that has served this area for a very long time. You can find Miss Lillian's, Billy's and other Carter family graves as well as those of early settlers in the area.
