Westville
This is one of my saddest posts to Forgotten Georgia. Westville was a great place to explore what life in Georgia was like in the 1850's. When I was a student at Andrew College in Cuthbert in the late 1970's, this was a regular destination along with Providence Canyon. Westville is located just south of Lumpkin, Georgia in Stewart County, it closed recently for a variety of reasons. The good news is that it is supposed to reopen in Columbus in the future. Sure hope that happens.
