View from Inside the Ruins of Concord Woolen Mill

The mill opened in 1847, and was burned by Sherman's troops on July 4th, 1864. After the war, the mill was rebuilt. It prospered until it burned again in 1889. It was rebuilt once more, but finally closed in 1916 for business reasons. Located in Heritage Park, alongside Nickajack Creek in Cobb County.
