Pierce County
Blackshear Presbyterian Church was built in 1874 and is the oldest Presbyterian Church in Pierce County. Behind the church is a small cabin that I posted before but didn't know the history at the time.
. The cabin was moved there from another place nearby and is know to locals as George's House. George was the servant of a local family. I was told that there was another little cabin that a servant named Annie lived in but it was not able to be saved. It was said that Annie and George visited back and forth. Some said they were married but it was not known for sure.
