Old Bridge

This bridge carried U.S. Highway 41 over a creek in Lowndes County for many years until the newer four lane highway opened in the late 80's\early 90's only yards away, bypassing this old bridge. It was closed a few years after the new highway opened. It now serves as a fishing spot for locals.
