Was built in 1857 by John T Grant, who was well know as a railroad builder. In 1876, Mr. Hill, a congressman and senator bought the house, but sold it in 1883 to the founder of the First National of Athens. His daughter inherited the estate later in the year. In 1949, it was acquired by the Bradley Foundation and donated it to UGA and is now known as The President's House.
