The Federal Style Camak House in Athens

It was built in 1834 by James Camak. The major significance of the house the meeting that was held here by Mr. Camak and others that launched the Georgia Railroad, the first successful one in Georgia and 3rd in the country. The Camak Family lived in it until 1947 and then it was owned by Coca Cola. Today it is a law office.
