The Pitner-Brockman House in Athens

Built in 1889, it remained in the same family until 2007. When Charles Brockman Jr. died they found an old desk that used to belong to Governor Joseph Brown, who was Governor of Georgia from 1857-1865. They found a letter book belonging to the Governor as well as diaries from his wife and daughter.
