Clyattville

A dilapidated grave from 1860 sits inside an unkept cemetery in Clyattville, GA in Lowndes County. The inscription reads "Sacred is the memory of Mills M. Brinson who was born 4th March 1812 and departed this life 16th Sept 1860. His body is buried in peace but his soul liveth everywhere". Lack of care & neglect to this cemetery has lead to many sunken graves, with fallen trees & debris completely covering many of the graves- with quite a few completely open & exposed like this one (yes, it keeps going all the way to the casket- which I could see the inside of- i made sure NOT to photograph any of that)
