This beautiful blue 3 story building with red trim in downtown Thomasville in Thomas County was initially built in 1882. Today, it is a great example of when restorations on historic buildings go RIGHT- successfully showcasing the beauty that can be uncovered if the restoration is done correctly. Before restoration, blue glass panels weighing TWO HUNDRED pounds each covered the 2nd & 3rd floors of this building. After the restoration, it looks very close to how it did back in the 1800's when it was originally constructed in 1882 as a brokerage exchange. Notice how downtown Thomasville still has BRICK streets!
