Caruther's Mill

This is the dam and ruins of Caruther's Mill in Walton County. I have been able to find nothing about the history of it thus far. Another photo in comments.

Edit. Thanks to a friend of Andy's, here is a little info.
"From 1902 until the Mill burned in 1971, a great commercial venture. This is the last hand built Dam built in Georgia by Mule Teams and Skilled Artisans. The rock was quarried on site and is still in tack today with the Mill Site and Flue pipes still functional and on site."
