Oldest Jail in the State of Georgia

Circa 1783. Located in Warthen. Taken by myself about 4 years or so ago.

According to RoadsideAmerica.com this jail was built just for detaining American Vice President Aaron Burr who only spent one night in it enroute to his trial for treason. It's in someone's front yard but is still a tourist attraction. www.roadsideamerica.com/tip
