The Old Fullerville Jail in Villa Rica

Kevin Humble took a couple pictures of the old Fullerville Jail on Rockmart Road in Villa Rica (Carroll County) while doing some survey work in the area. The jail which dates from 1828 was originally of wood but burned down at some point and was replaced with this concrete structure. It's located on Rockmart Road. There have been efforts underway for some time to restore the jail and make it a tourist attraction. One article I read was dated 2009 so obviously it's not easy to get funds to do these projects.
