Southeastern Railway Museum

Recent train pictures reminded me of the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth in Gwinnett County. Engines and railcars are on display and for exploring. My grandfather's job was to ride on Southern between Atlanta and Augusta sorting mail in a mailcar like this. Mailbags were snagged from posts as trains passed through towns. Since he passed away in 1934, that was a long time ago.
