Old Tifton High School
This building sits in Tift County's county seat of Tifton & currently serves as the Charles A Kent Administration building, but it's obvious just by looking at it there is quite a bit of history behind it- and there is! This building was home to Tifton High School for nearly half a century - from the time construction was complete in 1918 until schools in Georgia desegregated in 1962, when construction started on a new larger school down the road on 8th Street to accommodate the larger student population.
