Located south of Lexington in Oglethorpe County. I have almost waited too long to take a pictures of It. It was built in 1830 by a Mr. Birdsong but the Hogan family lived in it for many generations before moving to Athens. The house is crumbling. I have pictures of the posts with wooden pegs to put the frame together. The log smoke house is still in good shape. Hogan's store is still out front on the property. The construction of the house with a full classical porch. It will not be long before it is gone.

i was able to get permission to photograph the house recently, the roof has completely caved in
