Shoulderbone Plantation in Hancock County

 A Revolutionary War veteran was granted the land in 1796. In 1832 he sold the land to William Jackson. In 1850, he built the house for his son. In the early 1900's it was sold to Jefferson Lanier, his great grandson now owns the property and restored it in the 1980's.
