Hargrove Cemetery in Cobb County

Photo Challenge #5:  It is located right along side Windy Hill Road (park in the lot located at 2520 Windy Hill Road if you’d like to visit). The sign says the cemetery is for “family and friends,” and graves date from throughout the 1800s and early 1900s. There are approximately 20 graves, including James Hargrove who died in 1863 in the battle at Knoxville. It is also the location of the Hargrove family home and troops during the Civil War (see historical marker).
